My name is Meeta Shah MD and I am a practicing emergency medicine physician. My field encompasses many areas of medicine as well as the societal issues of healthcare in the United States. I have been involved in patient care for approximately 10 years now, but the next phase of my career includes medical writing. I have firsthand clinical experience, exposure to the current concepts of medicine and have personally faced the barriers of healthcare. I completed my medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine, trained at Presence Health and am a board certified Emergency Medicine physician living in Chicago. I have completed Hitt Medical Writing’s “6-Week Freelance Medical Writing Course” and am a member of the American Medical Writer’s Association.
